Rachel McAdams Close to Booking 'True Detective' Season Two Role (Report)

Rachel McAdams has reportedly all but locked down the female leading role in the upcoming second season of True Detective, Variety reports.

The 35-year-old actress has been reported as the frontrunner for weeks with actresses such as Jessica Biel and Malin Akerman also being considered.

It was just announced by HBO that Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn would be starring in the second season of the show, with Taylor Kitsch expected to join the cast as well.
