'Selfie' Canceled by ABC, 'Forever' Gets Full Season Order

Selfie has been canceled by ABC after five weeks on the air, according to Deadline.

The new comedy series, which starred Karen Gillan and John Cho, received a ton of bad buzz leading up to its launch because of the social media related title. After its Tuesday night sibling Manhattan Love Story was canceled, two episodes of the series were aired back to back last week.

Selfie will air this coming Tuesday, but its scheduling after that is currently unknown.

In some better news at ABC, the network has given a full-season order to the supernatural crime procedural Forever, which stars Ioan Gruffudd as an immortal medical examiner.

I liked watching it while multitasking, I think one of the issues were the male lead

  • Nancy Ann

    I blame the title.

I had it on for background noise while doing chores. I had to turn it off because it was that bad.

John Cho was the best part!

Bad buzz?? No, the pilot was bad but since then every epi just got better and better! The viewers can see it so is the critics, go check the reviews before jumping into the conclusion like this JJ. The two leads are great so are the supporting cast. ABC sucks! They care NOTHING about the fans only the ratings. Stupid as FxxK!!
