Zooey Deschanel Being Sued For Injuring a Horse

Zooey Deschanel and her co-star Hannah Simone don’t let the rain bother them as they film a scene for The New Girl on Tuesday (December 16) in Los Angeles.

The 34-year-old actress is currently being sued after a show horse she rented to ride back in 2013, for $13,000, was returned “injured and unusable,” according to TMZ.

The horse’s owner Patty Parker says that there were many restrictions in place between the horse Literati and Zooey, including “no more than 3 jumping lessons per week.” But when Literati was returned, the owner claims he needed tons of medical attention and Zooey should be footing the bill.
