Keri Russell Rocks Green Feathered Frock at Met Gala 2015

Keri Russell is gorgeous in green at the 2015 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 4) in New York City.

The 39-year-old actress’ trainer Avital Zeisler recently revealed how she keeps Keri in the best shape for her hit show The Americans.

“[Our workouts were all] based on real survival and hand-to-hand combat tactics that I would cover with any client,” Avital shared to E! News. “It is important that my students learn correct technique and concepts that are effective. I wanted her to come across authentic and showcase the combative training background that her character portrays in the show.​”

She added, “I developed her combative fundamentals, like her survival stance and striking technique, which I then incorporated into full body conditioning drills that would help ingrain the self-defense concepts so that they would appear second nature in her fight scenes.”
