Shia LaBeouf Hospitalized for Head Injury While Filming a Stunt

Shia LaBeouf was hospitalized for a head injury while filming a stunt for his movie American Honey on Tuesday (June 23) in North Dakota.

The 29-year-old actor had 20 stitches and 13 staples put in his head and his finger. The stunt in question called for Shia to put his head through a glass window, but something went horribly wrong and Shia got hurt.

“Shia LaBeouf sustained minimal injuries late last night on the set of his current film, AMERICAN HONEY. As protocol, production sought out medical attention and Shia received stitches on his hand and for a laceration on his head. He is due back on set tomorrow,” Shia‘s rep told JustJared.com in a statement.

Shia was bandaged up and then sent home. He is supposed to continue filming tomorrow.
