Rosie O'Donnell's Daughter Chelsea Moves to Wisconsin to Live with Birth Mom

Rosie O’Donnell‘s daughter Chelsea, who went missing earlier this month, has made the decision to go live with her birth mother, Wisconsin resident Deanna Micoley.

The teenager, who just turned 18 years old, went missing for a week and was found at the home of alleged heroin addict Steven Sheerer. Steven was arrested in connection with Chelsea‘s disappearance.

Chelsea made a decision when she turned 18 that she wanted to go to her birth mother. This was her choice,” Rosie‘s publicist said in a statement to Chelsea reportedly suffers from mental illness. Rosie will not be making a statement about her daughter’s decision.

Great …Rosie should have NEVER told the World that Chelsea has a so called “Mental Illness” It’s abusive to expose such a personal matter to the world and “Label” anyone Mentally Ill..If it’s even true! Rosie is the one person who continues to act in a Mentally Ill manner. I feel sorry for Chelsea. Hopefully she can live her life now without being told she is ill.

I don’t know when Rosie initially made that statement, but the reason it was made while Chelsea was missing was to alert people of the urgency of the situation. The girl has a problem that requires medication that she apparently wasn’t taking, and she had an innocent therapy dog with her (guess what: animals matter, too). So, with respect to recent statements, I definitely don’t fault Rosie.

Well now that she’s 18 and decided to move with her birth mother. This will also free Rosie from any financial obligation to her. She will find job and go to college on her own expense. Her birth mother will now have to fork money to enable her daughter to afford the life she was used to when Rosie adopted her.

Please. Rosie kept that girl doped up for years over some supposed mental problem. That girl got off the drugs and escaped the asylum. Good for her. She was probably tired of hearing Rosie’s views on issues. When she was on The View, I know I was tired of hearing it.

Girl running away to her real mother from lesbian who did a huge damage to her mental health? Not surprised.

What does Rosie’s sexuality have to do with anything? And why did you thumb up your own post?

  • Salem Saberhagen

Please. Put aside your petty prejudice over Rosie, iLoveMe’s post makes sense.

I’m sure she thought about the difference in lifestyle before she moved in with her birth mother. Clearly she doesn’t care about the money if that’s the case.

  • jane

the rest of her “children” will likely do the same. i feel bad for the girl, living with that woman when she clearly didn’t want to.

You really think so? 17-18 year olds don’t know shit. The girl basically just got out of high school.
