Kanye West Auditions for 'American Idol' in San Francisco (Video)

Kanye West high-fives Ryan Seacrest after making a surprise appearance during the American Idol auditions on Saturday (October 10) in San Francisco, Calif.

The 38-year-old rapper, who was joined by wife Kim Kardashian, sang his 2005 hit “Gold Digger” for the panel of judges, which includes Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick, Jr., and Keith Urban.
