Disney Announces 9 New Live Action Fairy Tale Movies!

Disney has made an exciting announcement that they are in development on nine upcoming live action fairy tale movies!

Among the highlights are Angelina Jolie returning to play the title role in Maleficent 2, Emma Stone taking on the 101 Dalmatians villain in the movie Cruella, and Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda starring in a sequel of Mary Poppins.

While we don’t know when each one will be released, untitled live-action Disney fairy tale films have been slated to hit theaters on 7/28/2017, 4/6/2018, 8/3/2018, 12/25/2018, and 12/20/2019.
