Sophie Turner Talks About That Big 'Game of Thrones' Reunion (Spoilers)

SPOILER ALERT! Don’t continue reading if you don’t want to know what happened on tonight’s Game of Thrones.

The latest episode of Game of Thrones wrapped up on HBO just a few minutes ago and Sophie Turner is speaking about that emotional Stark reunion between Sansa and Jon Snow (Kit Harington).

If you didn’t know, Sansa and Jon have not been in a scene together in years, since the very first episode.

“It’s such an emotional moment,” Sophie told EW. “She finally made it to Castle Black. And there’s this look where they’re just studying each other’s faces, with no expression. Then there’s this long embrace. It’s just awesome.”

“I’m most excited for the fact I get to see Kit and get to act with him,” Sophie said about filming season six. “Kit is one of my best mates and we had just one scene together in the pilot, where we’re waiting on the king. It’s like working with an older brother. I’ve watched his work over the past four years and I think he’s amazing. He’s so focused and dedicated.”

“People can kind of assume that Sansa’s very much like her mother and her mother wasn’t very fond of Jon,” Sophie added. “But Sansa is also different from her mother so she tries her best. She’s been through so much…She knows Jon is her older brother and Davos is older and wiser, but she’s probably been through more than both of them. She’s not just going to go along with other people’s decisions.”
