Bradley Cooper Says He 'Wasn't Expecting' DNC Backlash

Bradley Cooper takes a seat on stage during his appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Tuesday night (August 2) in Los Angeles.

The 41-year-old actor opened up about Republicans being outraged over him attending the 2016 Democratic National Convention the week before in Philadelphia, Pa.

“I wasn’t expecting that,” Bradley said. “Republicans were up in arms because I was there listening to the president speak…I think he was an incredible president. I was really excited.”
