Fox Announces Fall 2017 Schedule, 'X Files' Will Air in 2018

Fox has announced its schedule for the upcoming Fall 2017 season and the network has made some adjustments to the placement of current shows.

The highly anticipated season of The X-Files and Ryan Murphy‘s new drama series 9-1-1 will both be saved to air during the mid-season slots in 2018, so don’t expect to see those on the schedule.

The new series on the schedule include the Marvel series The Gifted and Seth MacFarlane‘s space series Orville. Adam Scott and Craig Robinson‘s live-action sci-fi series Ghosted will air on Sunday nights sandwiched in between animated hits The Simpsons and Family Guy.

Empire will move to the 8pm slot on Wednesday nights after airing at 9pm throughout its run.
