Rami Malek Is 'Terrified' of Playing Freddie Mercury in Queen Biopic

Rami Malek stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (August 17) and gave some insight about playing Freddie Mercury in Bryan Singer‘s Bohemian Rhapsody, a biopic about the legendary group Queen.

“Everyday and it never feels like it’s enough because those guys, each one of them, is this incrediable artist on their own,” the 36-year-old actor told Jimmy. “Together, collectively, it is a phenomenon. Things like that don’t happen.”

“When they would lay tracks the tape became clear because they were over dubbing things, they were coming up with new ideas all the time,” Rami added. “It’s a phenomenal experience. They’re a talented bunch of dudes and I am terrified.”

Rami also chatted with Jimmy about getting recognized on the subway for Mr. Robot and the time he covered up a catering job mistake by scooping food up off a hospital floor.
