'Game of Thrones' Season 8 to Premiere in 2019

HBO has just announced that Game of Thrones‘ final season, season 8, will be airing in 2019.

The final season will contain six episodes. In addition, HBO has announced that the directors for the new season include David Benioff & D.B. Weiss, David Nutter and Miguel Sapochnik. Writers include David Benioff & D.B. Weiss, Bryan Cogman and Dave Hill.

It’s expected that actors including Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, and more will return.

No exact date has been announced. Season seven debuted over the summer in 2017. Stay tuned for more info!
