How Much is Jimmy Kimmel Paid to Host the Oscars?

Don’t expect Jimmy Kimmel to be raking in a ton of money for hosting the 2018 Oscars!

The 50-year-old talk show host and comedian hosted the show in 2017 as well and he revealed in an interview that he was only paid $15,000 for the gig.

In comparison, Jimmy is paid $15 million annually be ABC to host his late night show Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“I think it’s illegal to pay nothing,” Jimmy said while revealing his 2017 salary on KROQ radio. “I’m not sure I was supposed to reveal this. But nobody told me not to. I consider this their fault. They asked like 14 people and they all said no and then there was me. I absolutely was surprised.”

No word yet if Jimmy is getting paid the same amount this year, but it’s likely not far off that amount!
