Duke & Duchess of Sussex: Harry & Meghan's New Titles!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s new titles when they are married have been announced – Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

While Harry will not be the first Duke of Sussex, Meghan is set to be the first woman to ever be known as HRH The Duchess of Sussex.

Meghan will not be known as a princess. Traditionally, women in the royal family are only given the “Princess” title if they are born into the royal family, not if they marry into it. Kate Middleton is also known as a duchess and not a princess.
