Duchess Catherine (aka Kate Middleton) is speaking for the first time in a public setting about the news that Duchess Meghan Markle is pregnant and expecting her first child with Prince Harry!

An Instagram user caught the interaction with the Duchess and a fan, where the fan asked if she was excited for Duchess Meghan‘s upcoming baby.

“Absolutely!” Duchess Kate responded. “It’s such a special time to have little kiddies. And a cousin for George and Charlotte, as well, and Louis. It’ll be really special.”

Duchess Kate and her husband Prince William previously released a statement after hearing the news of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan‘s pregnancy. The baby is due in the spring.
