Fatima Ali Dead - 'Top Chef' Contestant Dies at 29

Fatima Ali has sadly died at the age of 29.

The Top Chef contestant died on Friday (January 25) according to Top Chef‘s Bruce Kalman, who provided an Instagram update.

“It’s with a heavy heart we say goodbye to Fatima Ali today, as she has lost her battle with cancer. I will miss you Fati, and you will be in my heart forever. I’ll always remember the great times we had, especially our interview during the tailgating episode discussing football, stadiums, and Taylor Swift. Much love, Bruce 😘 #fuckcancer #cheffati #topchef #friends #family #itsnotfair,” Bruce wrote.

Fatima was very public with her battle with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, and revealed that her cancer had returned back in October of 2018.
