Taylor Swift Donates Over $100K to Tennessee Equality Project

Taylor Swift just made a very generous donation to the Tennessee Equality Project!

The 29-year-old superstar donated $113,000 to the organization to support their efforts to fight against anti-LGBTQ bills in the state.

In a heartfelt, handwritten note, Taylor explained why she was a supporter of the organization.

“I’m writing you to say that I’m so inspired by the work you do, specifically in organizing the recent petition of Tennessee faith leaders standing up against the ‘slate of hate’ in our state legislature,” Taylor wrote to the group’s leader Chris Sanders.

She continued, “Please convey my heartfelt thanks to them and accept this donation to support the work you and these leaders are doing. I’m so grateful that they’re giving all people a place to worship.”
