Black Panther's Letitia Wright Found Out Her 'Avengers' Character Died at the Same Time You Did

At the end of Avengers: Infinity War, it was presumed that Letitia Wright‘s character Shuri survived Thanos’ snap as she wasn’t shown turning to dust.

However, when Marvel released character posters separating the living from the dead, it was quickly made clear that Shuri actually did die.

Letitia did not know until the posters were released that her character had not lived!

“It was surprising,” she told Marvel. “I saw everybody in the colored photos, you know the colored posters, and then I saw myself in grey. And I was like, ‘I just died out of nowhere!’ I think the whole of Twitter was pretty upset, so I kind of logged off and didn’t log back on. So I’m waiting to see how that came together and how that panned out tonight.”

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on Thursday at midnight.
