Matthew Morrison's Wife Renee Gets Candid About Suffering a Miscarriage

Matthew Morrison‘s wife Renee is opening up about recently suffering a miscarriage.

The 35-year-old model took to her Instagram to share about the unfortunate loss and how meditation helped get her through it.

“Matthew and I have been so intentionally trying to get pregnant…I found out [I was pregnant] at four weeks and began the cycle of miscarriage on my sixth week. That’s a whole conversation I would love to have but the point of today is to tell you how meditation helped guide me through this journey and this experience,” Renee explained.

She continued, “From the day we’re born we’re born we’re taught what to think, how to feel, how to show it…What meditation has taught me to do is rise above those conditioned thoughts…Going through the cycle of miscarriage, there are those, ‘Oh wow, is this going to happen again? And did I do something?’ I’m going to choose not to go there.”

Renee added that Matthew was worried and asked if she was okay during the experience because she was so calm, which she attributes to meditation.

“Women, I want you to know that I feel you. And, God, you are goddesses. And we all deserve so much acknowledgment and love and support and encouragement. That’s what I’m here to help us accomplish through sharing my story, my vulnerability, and just to say that I see you. I see you and I feel you,” Renee concluded.
