Chrissy Metz Lands Record Deal with UMG Nashville!

Chrissy Metz is getting in the music business!

The 39-year-old This Is Us actress announced on Monday (January 13) that she has signed a record deal with Universal Music Group in Nashville – meaning she is getting ready to record her debut country album.

“The cat is out of the bag, y’all! Here’s the secret I’ve been keeping and dreaming about since I can remember,” Chrissy wrote on Instagram. “I am beyond grateful and excited to work with @umgnashville & @riverhouseartists ! 😍 And I am so thrilled for you all to hear what we’ve been working on! 💓”

Last year, Chrissy recorded the Oscar-nominated song “I’m Standing With You” for the film Breakthrough, which she also starred in.

UMG Nashville also represents Carrie Underwood, Lauren Alaina, and Maddie & Tae.
