The next Bachelorette is…franchise alum Clare Crawley!

The 38-year-old Bachelor Nation regular was chosen over other franchise favorites including Tia Booth, Tayshia Adams and Kelsey Weier.

We last saw Clare during 2018′s The Bachelor Winter Games, where she got engaged to The Bachelorette Canada star Benoit Beauséjour-Savard.

Clare was the runner up on Juan Pablo Galavis‘ season of The Bachelor, and she has also appeared on Bachelor in Paradise.

This move is a first by the franchise, as she is 38 years old, making her the oldest reality star to ever take on The Bachelorette. Filming is set to begin next week.
