Indian Actor Chiranjeevi Sarja Dead at 39

Chiranjeevi Sarja, an actor who appeared in over 20 films through the course of his career, passed away on June 6 at the young age of 39.

His cause of death was revealed to be a heart attack.

“It is a shock to hear the news that Kannada famous artist Chiranjeevi Sarja died of a heart attack,” B.S. Yediyurappa, the chief minister of Karnataka, India, wrote on Twitter (which was translated to English by People). “Prematurely dying at the age of just 39 is shocking. I pray that God may grant them goodwill, their family, and the strength to endure grief for their vast fan base.”

He appeared in movies like 2013′s Whistle and 2018′s Amma I Love You.

He is survived by his wife Meghna Raj. RIP.
