Sally Spectra Actress Courtney Hope Exits ‘Bold and the Beautiful’

Courtney Hope has released a statement as it was announced she would no longer be on The Bold and the Beautiful.

The 30-year-old actress has played the character of Sally Spectra since 2017 and the announcement comes after fans expressed disappointment in Sally’s storyline before coronavirus shut production down.

“An abrupt ending to a monumental journey. The last three years have been amazing, and though I do not know what the future holds this chapter of Sally has sadly come to an end,” Courtney wrote on Instagram.

She continued, “I love my @boldandbeautifulcbs cast and crew and will miss everyone dearly, but await the day we may all play again. Some things are out of our control, and I thank the fans for your support through it all! Until then, I revel in new beginnings and everything the future has in store.”

Courtney follows in the footsteps of many other stars leaving other soap operas, including Kristian Alfonso, and Greg Vaughan.
