The 20-year-old actor and singer, who is best known for his work on the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, has been making a lot of headlines this past week following the release of another song.

Fellow HSMTMTS star Olivia Rodrigo dropped her song “Driver’s License” one week ago and fans have come up with a theory that she wrote the song about Joshua and his girlfriend Sabrina Carpenter.

So, what is “Lie Lie Lie” about?

“I wrote ‘Lie, Lie, Lie’ after i found out a friend had been lying about me behind my back for a long time,” he shared on Instagram story. “It always sucks to hear that someone you thought you could trust would throw you under the bus when it benefits them.”
