Sacha Baron Cohen Ties Record for Most Golden Globe Nominations in a Year!

Sacha Baron Cohen is heavily nominated!

The Borat entertainer earned three nominations at the 2021 Golden Globes, tying with Helen Mirren and Jamie Foxx for most-ever nominations for a performer in a single year at the ceremony.

This year, Sacha is nominated in the Best Comedy or Musical feature category and Best Actor Comedy or Musical for Borat Subsequent Movie Film, as well as Best Supporting Role for his role in The Trial of the Chicago 7.

Jamie previously got the record-setting three nominations in 2005, while Helen had three nominations in 2007.
