Katharine McPhee & David Foster Welcome Their First Child!

Katharine McPhee and David Foster are now the proud parents of their first child together!

The 36-year-old singer and actress and the 71-year-old musician welcomed a baby boy, People confirmed.

“Katharine McPhee and David Foster have welcomed a healthy baby boy. Mom, Dad and son are all doing wonderfully,” a rep told the outlet. A name was not yet revealed.

The couple tied the knot back in June of 2019 after first meeting back in 2006 on the set of American Idol. The couple announced their pregnancy back in October.

“Now that I am having a boy, there are different things I need to worry about to teach him versus the things I would be thinking about with a girl,” the 36-year-old actress and singer just recently told Roxy Manning and Tammin Sursok on the “Women on Top” podcast. See what else she said!

This is the first child for the couple and for Katharine. David shares kids Sara, 39, Erin, 38, and Jordan, 34, with second wife Rebecca Dyer, and daughters Allison, 50, and Amy, 46, from other relationships. Congratulations to the couple!

All of these stars also just welcomed babies in 2021.
