Daniel Kaluuya Jokes About Getting Muted at Golden Globes 2021 During 'Saturday Night Live' Monologue - Watch Now!

Daniel Kaluuya is making his Saturday Night Live debut!

The 32-year-old two-time Oscar nominated actor hosted the sketch comedy series for the first time on Saturday (April 3).

In his opening monologue, Daniel joked about getting muted during his virtual acceptance speech at the 2021 Golden Globes.

If you missed it, Daniel won the Golden Globe award for Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture for his role in Judas and the Black Messiah. When he started talking, the awards show had his Zoom feed muted and people didn’t get to hear the beginning of his speech.

“I was muted! Can you believe that? I said the best joke of my life and I was muted. I felt like I was in the Sunken Place,” Daniel said on SNL, while jokingly referencing his hit movie Get Out.

Daniel Kaluuya is teaming up with Get Out director Jordan Peele for another movie! Get the scoop here.
