Matt Smith Grabs Drinks With Friends at the Pub

Matt Smith enjoys some time spent with some friends at a local pub in North London, England on Monday (April 12).

The 38-year-old actor sipped on an alcoholic drink while talking with his friends and took a moment to pet a dog who was near them in the area.

This is Matt‘s first sighting since the death of Prince Philip, whom he portrayed in the first few seasons of The Crown.

“Prince Philip was the man. And he knew it,” Matt shared in his statement about the royal’s passing. “99 and out, but what an innings. And what style. Thank you for your service old chap – it won’t be the same without you.”

Tobias Menzies, who played Philip in the subsequent seasons, also released a statement.
