2017 is winding down but proved to be a popular year for celebrities to get engaged!

Tons of celebs popped the question or received a sparkling ring in the past 12 months and we’ve got a recap of all the big proposals!

Some of the most talked about engagements of the year included Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, Colton Haynes and Jeff Leatham and of course the royal engagement – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!

There were so many celebrity splits in 2017 that had us shocked and heartbroken. Before the end of the year, let’s take a moment to recap all the stars who broke up this past year.

Right at the beginning of the year, stars like Nicki Minaj and Scarlett Johansson announced splits from their beaus.

Some of the couples that totally shocked everyone with the announcements of their splits later in the year included Chris Pratt and Anna Faris and Fergie and Josh Duhamel.

There were even some couples that decided to get back together after breaking up, like Chris Evans and Jenny Slate!

2017 brought us plenty of celebrity babies. And for some stars, their very own bundles of joy are on the way in the new year!

Just Jared is taking a look at which couples announced pregnancy news over the past 12 months and are expecting to give birth sometime in 2018 – everyone from John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, who are expecting their second child together in the new year, to Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson‘s first child together. Speaking of the Kardashian family: sister Kim Kardashian is expecting her third child with Kanye West via surrogate, and Kylie Jenner is reportedly pregnant too!

2017 is coming to a close and we lost some beloved celebrities in the past 12 months.

As we welcome in 2018, lets take a moment to reflect on those we said goodbye to in 2017.

At the beginning of the year, legendary performers Mary Tyler Moore and John Hurt both passed away. Other deaths that shocked the world included Chris Cornell‘s tragic passing, Chester Bennington‘s tragic death, Charlie Murphy‘s death, and more.

RIP to all of these celebrities. Our constant thoughts are with their families and loved ones.
