Audra McDonald & Laura Linney Launch a 'Feud' in Hilarious Tonys 2019 Moment!

Broadway actors are known for being supportive of each other and feuds in the community are rare, so James Corden decided to try and start some at the 2019 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 9) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The host asked actors to stand up and air out their grievances with each other live on television.

After the first two “feuds” ended in the actors making up immediately, Audra McDonald stood up to say she saw Laura Linney in the audience at her play last night, giving her the finger.

Instead of apologizing for it, Laura just said, “Yeah, that was me,” with a hilarious deadpan. The two stars then jokingly got into a physical fight in the front row. See some funny GIFs below!

Also pictured inside: Audra and her Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune co-star Michael Shannon and partner Kate Arrington on the red carpet earlier in the night.

FYI: Audra is wearing a Halston dress and Tamara Mellon shoes. Michael and Kate are wearing Dolce&Gabbana.
