Here’s what the happy couple had to share with the mag:
Alec on playingDonald Trumpon SNL: “I’m glad that people find it funny… but at the same time, I think people were very worried about the election. Both sides are very passionate so it’s been a very, very difficult time in this country. I haven’t felt like this in a long, long time.”
Hilaria on meeting Alec: “Many people think we [Alec and I] met in a yoga class, but we didn’t. I met him because of yoga.”
Hilaria on raising bilingual children: “Carmen’s first language is Spanish. I only speak Spanish with her and with Alec she is smart enough to know that she needs to switch to English. Alec’s Spanish is getting better and better. His accent is very good.”

The 58-year-old actor revealed that following the election, he won’t be back to play Donald all that often.
“I’m going to do it again this weekend, but not all that often. There was a lot of things online that was said about it – like why didn’t I do it after the election? I was booked that weekend. Not even other jobs; we have things to do. It crashes every weekend,” he told Vanity Fair.
His wife Hilaria added, “When he does SNL, it takes a big chunk out of it because you’re up so late, and then it eats into the next day. And for us, with little kids, it’s hard.”
Tina Fey flashes a smile alongside her handsome hubby Jeff Richmond while attending the 2016 American Museum Of Natural History Museum Gala at the American Museum of Natural History on Thursday evening (November 17) in New York City.
SNL took on a mock segment of Erin Burnett OutFront where Hillary and Donald made their finals pleas to voters, cracked on Hillary’s latest email scandal, and had Donald kissing an FBI agent, Vladimir Putin, and a KKK member!
Hillary tries to get the show commentator to discuss the kissing, but she would much rather focus on Hillary‘s emails.
Halfway through the skit, Alec and Kate break character to apologize to each other for constantly yelling and arguing at each other in every political skit and hug it out before taking it to the streets of NYC to hug it out with people of all walks of life.
Kate and Alec then come back into the studio to encourage viewers to get out and vote.
“We won’t tell you who to vote for. But on Tuesday, we all get to choose what kind of country we want to live in,” Kate said.
