The “Strangers” singer was joined by Meghan Trainor, who showed off a similar hair color.

“Ok taking a nap, gonna try the pink thing, post a good pic of my new hair, and then perform with @B96Chicago at Allstate Arena tonight! Chicago you are one of my favorite crowds to play to, so I’m sooooo excited ❤️❤️❤️,” Halsey tweeted before heading to the concert.

Also performing were Liam Payne, Dua Lipa, Alessia Cara, and Bebe Rexha.

Just the night before, Meghan had pink hair while performing on the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards, but had a short blonde ‘do on the red carpet. Looks like Meghan has a bunch of different colored wigs on hand.

Alessia Cara Debuts 'Growing Pains' Music Video - Watch Here!

Alessia Cara travels through an abandon warehouse in the music video for brand new song “Growing Pains,” which was just released today (June 20)!

The track is the first single from the 21-year-old Grammy Award-winning singer’s forthcoming sophomore album, which is tentatively scheduled for release later this year.

“I wrote it during a time where I felt sort of lost in everything I was doing, lost in my job and in my responsibility,” Alessia told Harper’s Bazaar. “It was really confusing. Not only am I a 21-year-old woman, which is hard enough, but I’m also part of a circumstance and a lifestyle that is very unusual and very different, and that can be kind of scary. I think those two things put together created this emotional distance in my head where I knew I was supposed to be happy because I was fulfilling my dreams, but I just wasn’t quite happy with myself.”

“I wanted to write a song about it, but give it some slight silver lining by calling it ‘Growing Pains,’ because I think all pain is something we can grow out of, or grow through, at some point,” Alessia added. “That was my way of saying this isn’t forever.”

Alessia Cara Responds to Backlash Over Best New Artist Grammys Win

Alessia Cara won the award for Best New Artist at the 2018 Grammys this weekend!

There are some who were taking to social media, upset that one of the other nominees (Khalid, Lil Uzi Vert, SZA, and Julia Michaels) did not win. Alessia‘s debut single, “Here,” was first released back in 2015.

“to address the apparent backlash regarding winning something I had no control over: I didn’t log onto grammy.com and submit myself. that’s not how it works. I didn’t ask to be submitted either because there are other artists that deserve the acknowledgment. but I was nominated and won and I am not going to be upset about something I’ve wanted since I was a kid, not to mention have worked really hard for,” Alessia posted on Instagram.
