Attorney Tamar Arminak explained that after Amanda‘s Paper Magazine feature she realized that “she really wasn’t feeling like herself all of [the] sudden and that she wanted to address that.”

She told Access, “Right now, her day-to-day is really just focusing on her well-being. She’s exercising, yoga. She’s really focusing in on herself, which is very, very important. I know that she will be sure this time around to focus on herself and get better before she leaves the treatment center or wherever she’s seeking help currently.”

We’re glad to hear Amanda is doing so much better!

In the piece, Amanda revealed that she pushed to get Channing cast in the film.

“I totally fought for Channing [to get cast in] that movie because he wasn’t famous yet. He’d just done a Mountain Dew commercial and I was like, ‘This guy’s a star — every girl will love him!’ But [the producers] were like, ‘He’s so much older than all of you!’ And I was like, ‘It doesn’t matter! Trust me!’”

“I love her. I guess she sort of told me [that she fought to get me in the movie]. I love her,” he said to ET.

“Oh, I don’t know about all that,” he said of Amanda calling him a star.

“I love her and I just hope she’s doing well…I’m so happy she’s killing it again and just back on the right. She’s so talented and so special. She’s been doing it…I mean, I think it’s so impossible when you start at such a young age to keep perspective. It’s tough,” he said.

“She was just so alive. You never knew what was going to come out her mouth, she was just on fire…I haven’t seen her in so long. I love you, Amanda, and I hope you’re doing well,” he added.

Amanda Bynes Breaks the Internet with 'Paper,' Talks Past Drug Use & a Return to Acting

Amanda Bynes is looking happy and healthy on the cover of Paper magazine‘s Break the Internet issue, in which she opens up about her past drug use, regrets, and a potential return to the acting world.

Here is what the 32-year-old former actress and current FIDM student had to share with the mag:

On drug use: “I started smoking marijuana when I was 16. Even though everyone thought I was the ‘good girl,’ I did smoke marijuana from that point on… Later on it progressed to doing molly and ecstasy. [I tried] cocaine three times but I never got high from cocaine. I never liked it. It was never my drug of choice… I definitely abused Adderall.”

On abusing Adderall while filming Hall Pass: “When I was doing Hall Pass, I remember being in the trailer and I used to chew the Adderall tablets because I thought they made me [more] high [that way]… [I remember] seeing my image on the screen and literally tripping out and thinking my arm looked so fat because it was in the foreground or whatever and I remember rushing off set and thinking, Oh my god, I look so bad.”

On retiring from acting: “I saw [Hall Pass] and I was convinced that I should never be on camera again and I officially retired on Twitter, which was, you know, also stupid.”
