Patrick Dempsey Remembers Amanda Peterson After Her Death

Patrick Dempsey took to his Twitter account to pay tribute to his former Can’t Buy Me Love co-star Amanda Peterson, who passed away over the weekend at the age of 43.

“In my memory, she will always be vibrant and young. Gone too soon. Sending my thoughts and prayers to Amanda’s family,” the 49-year-old actor wrote on his Twitter account.

The cause of death has not yet been released.

Amanda Peterson has died at the age of 43.

The Can’t Buy Me Love actress’ body was discovered at her home in Greeley, Colorado on Sunday (July 5) after she was not heard from for a few days.

“She had some illness and a sleep apnea problem that may have contributed,” Amanda‘s father revealed to TMZ.

The cause of death has not been determined, but it was known that Amanda had struggled with several medical issues over the past two years, such as pneumonia, sinusitis, and sleep apnea.

Amanda was Patrick Dempsey‘s co-star in Can’t Buy Me Love, in which she played cheerleader Cindy Mancini and also starred in Explorers with Ethan Hawke.
