M83 to Katy Perry: Let Me Write Your Next Album!

Should Katy Perry and M83‘s Anthony Gonzalez team up to make some new music?

“I think I saw Katy Perry dancing [to] ‘Midnight City’ yesterday night,” Anthony wrote on the band’s Facebook page after performing at the 2012 Coachella Music Festival. “Katy, let me write your next album!”

Katy‘s also been vocal about being a fan of M83.

“I’ve been listening to, well, I guess it would have to be M83‘s last record, this past record. I think I’m going to see him at Coachella. Oh man, I’m so there. I love it so much,” she previously told MTV News.

FYI: Katy is just one of a handful of celebs who’ve covered Carly Rae Jepsen‘s “Call Me Maybe.” Check out her lip synching to the catchy track below!
