Arnold Schwarzenegger Says Trump's Immigration Ban is 'Crazy'

Arnold Schwarzenegger is speaking out about former Celebrity Apprentice host and current president Donald Trump‘s immigration ban.

The 69-year-old current host of The Celebrity Apprentice gave an interview to Extra on Monday (January 30) in Los Angeles.

“I think the real problem is that it was vetted badly,” Arnold said. “If they would run this by the Justice Department and Homeland Security and had the lawyers really study and focus on it and give it some time to do it the right way… I know what he’s trying to accomplish — his fear about people coming in from other places, causing harm to the country. There is another way to going about it to do it the right way and accomplish all of the goals. I think they were hasty with it.”

“To go and ban people who have a green card, that means that the United States of America has given you permission to work here permanently and you are on the way to permanent citizenship… I was in that position… It’s crazy, it’s crazy and makes us look stupid when the White House is ill-prepared to put this kind of executive order out there,” he added.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Fires Back At Donald Trump For 'Celebrity Apprentice' Ratings Tweet!

Arnold Schwarzenegger is firing back at Donald Trump for his tweets about him and the ratings for The New Celebrity Apprentice!

In Donald‘s tweet about the ratings, the 70-year-old President-elect referred to himself in the third person while slamming Arnold, 69, for not bringing in viewers.

Arnold has responded with a series of tweets saying Donald should work as hard to represent all Americans as he did for TV ratings. “There’s nothing more important than the people’s work,” Arnold said. “I wish you the best of luck and I hope you’ll work for ALL of the American people as aggressively as you worked for your ratings.”

Arnold also referred back to his post-election results video message where he reads back President Abraham Lincoln‘s first inaugural address: “We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies.”
