A new unauthorized biography of Anthony Bourdain includes the celebrity chef’s rumored final text messages from the days leading up to his death by suicide in 2018.

“Down and Out in Paradise: The Life of Anthony Bourdain” is written by journalist Charles Leerhsen and is set to be released on October 11, 2022.

“I hate my fans, too. I hate being famous. I hate my job,” Anthony wrote to his estranged wife Ottavia Busia-Bourdain, with whom he remained a close confidant even after their separation in 2016. “I am lonely and living in constant uncertainty.”

Rob Cohen has issued a statement after Asia Argento accused the director of sexual assault.

“He abused me, making me drink GHB, he had a bottle of it,” the 45-year-old actress recalled in a new interview for Variety. “At the time, I really didn’t know what it was. I woke up in the morning naked in his bed.”

Asia says that the assault took place while filming xXx with Vin Diesel and Samuel L. Jackson.

A spokesperson for Rob has issued a statement about the accusations, via E! News.

“Mr. Cohen categorically denies Asia Argento’s accusation of assault against him as absolutely false,” the statement reads. “When they worked together, they had an excellent working relationship and Mr. Cohen considered her a friend, so this claim dating back to 2002 is bewildering, especially given what has been reported about her in recent years.”

Asia was one of Harvey Weinstein‘s accusers as well, and also faced allegations of her own.

Asia Argento is coming forward with accusations of sexual abuse.

The 45-year-old actress and director confirmed to Variety on Sunday (January 24) that she made allegations of sexual assault against Fast & The Furious director Rob Cohen.

“It’s the first time I’m talking about Cohen. He abused me, making me drink GHB, he had a bottle of it,” she said to the Milan Daily, referring to the anesthetic associated with date rape.

“At the time, I really didn’t know what it was. I woke up in the morning naked in his bed,” she also said. She alleged that the assault took place while she was filming xXx alongside Vin Diesel and Samuel L. Jackson.

“I confirm what [was] reported by [Il Corriere della Sera],” she confirmed to the outlet.

“I talk about it in my autobiography,” she went on to say, referring to upcoming autobiography Anatomy of a Wild Heart, out in Italy on January 26.

During an appearance on Verissimo to promote the book, she explained that she had not previously come out with the accusations for various reasons.

“I discovered later, speaking with a friend who opened my eyes about that substance [GHB],” she explained.

Once she fully realized what happened, she “did not want to create another storm,” but “since two women have spoken against [Cohen], including his daughter,” she decided to come forth with her accusations.

He was previously accused of assaulting an unnamed victim while she was unconscious in 2015, as well as allegations from his daughter Valkyrie Weather who accused him of molesting her when she was a child and of taking her to visit sex workers in overseas shooting locations when she was a teen. Rob Cohen has denied the allegations in both cases.

The 43-year-old actress and singer has been keeping a low profile recently following the sexual assault accusations made by actor Jimmy Bennett, as well as the death of her boyfriend Anthony Bourdain seven months ago.

Asia has denied having a sexual relationship with Jimmy, who played her son in a 2004 movie, but she reportedly reached a financial settlement with him.

Asia Argento is speaking up following the allegations made against her.

The 43-year-old director and actress appeared on Italian TV show La7’s Non e l’Arena (It’s Not the Arena), hosted by journalist Massimo Giletti, on Sunday night (September 30) and refuted all of her accuser Jimmy Bennett‘s claims, saying she was the one who was assaulted by him.

“I would like to go back to X Factor, to do my job, because my children are proud of me, Italy wants me and I have not done anything that I’m accused of,” Asia expressed (via THR). “The thing that hurt me most was being called ‘pedophile.’ I have children and that is a stigma that I do not wish for anyone.”

Asia compared the assault to being raped by Harvey Weinstein and said her biggest regret was failing to defend herself: “I had not even defended myself in the meeting with Weinstein,” she said. “I think it’s because of some childhood trauma.”

Rose McGowan has issued an apology to Asia Argento after Asia publicly demanded an apology or she would pursue legal action.

If you don’t know, Rose issued a lengthy reaction statement pertaining to Asia and her sexual misconduct scandal regarding a former child actor named Jimmy Bennett.

““In my statement, I challenged why Asia had not acted as I think any responsible adult would if they received sexually explicit messages from a 12 year old, which of course do not apply in the same way as when the situation involves a 17 year old, who had admitted harboring misguided fantasies about their mentor since they were 12,” Rose wrote. “I deeply regret not correcting my mistake sooner and apologize to Asia for not doing so.”

Asia responded on Twitter, writing, “Although I am grateful to @rosemcgowan for her full apology following her groundless allegations about me, if she had issued it earlier, I may have kept my job on X-Factor and avoided the constant accusations of paedophilia which I have been subjected to in real-life and online.”

She added, “Now go on, live your life and stop hurting other people, will you Rose? Best wishes.”

Asia Argento is threatening to sue former pal Rose McGowan for the statements she made several weeks ago.

If you don’t know, Rose issued a lengthy reaction statement pertaining to Asia and her sexual misconduct scandal regarding a former child actor named Jimmy Bennett.

On Monday (September 17), Asia took to Twitter and wrote, “Dear @RoseMcGowan. It is with genuine regret that I am giving you 24 hours to retract and apologise for the horrendous lies made against me in your statement of August 27th. If you fail to address this libel I will have no option other than to take immediate legal action.”

Rose has not yet issued a public response.
