Astrid Loch and Kevin Wendt, who met on last year’s season of Bachelor in Paradise, are engaged!

The two reality stars announced their engagement on Instagram on Tuesday (September 3), just hours before a new episode of the show is set to air.

“I could have sworn the world stood still in this moment. A moment I’ll never forget. Just you + me. @kevin.c.wendt you’ve taught me to love, learn and grow and I can’t believe you’ve chosen me to spend this crazy life with. Wonder if I’ll ever stop smiling? Probably not. In this together, forever. ♥️,” Astrid wrote about the moment when Kevin proposed on August 28.

Kevin added, “You’ll never walk alone again. From here on out, we run together. Astrid you are my family, babe. Forever.”

Astrid was previously a contestant on Nick Viall‘s season of The Bachelor in 2017 while Kevin was a contestant on The Bachelorette Canada and then appeared on The Bachelor: Winter Games. They both were then on Bachelor in Paradise in 2018.

Rachel Lindsay missed her flight and wasn’t able to make it to the engagement celebration vacation that she had planned with her friends from The Bachelor, but they still partied without her!

Raven Gates, Astrid Loch, Danielle Lombard, Alexis Waters, Jasmine Goode, and Sarah Vendal are currently spending a weekend in paradise at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, where they are enjoying the amenities at the all-inclusive resort.

Some of the guys that Rachel sent home on the current season of The Bachelorette – Jack Stone, Adam Gottschalk, and Iggy Rodriguez – are reportedly planning on joining the ladies at the resort this weekend.

“Celebrating @therachlindsay engagement without @therachlindsay #hardrockpuntacana �’��’�,” Alexis, best known for wearing the “dolphin” costume, wrote on Instagram.

It seems like Rachel Lindsay‘s pal Astrid Loch, a contestant from Nick Viall‘s season of The Bachelor, just potentially revealed who she chooses on The Bachelorette this season.

When talking about what Rachel and her fiance’s plans are post-Bachelorette, Astrid said, “They are going to Dallas to have a party there. He gets to meet all of her friends and non-Bachelor people, too. And then they’re going to Miami after that to have an engagement party there, too.”

As you may know, Bryan Abasolo is from Miami and brought Rachel to his hometown to meet his family.

The other two contestants, Peter Kraus and Eric Bigger, are from Madison and Baltimore.

This doesn’t necessarily mean Rachel chooses Bryan, but fans seem to think so!
