Alex Winter is taking us back to 1989!

The 54-year-old actor took to Twitter to share a whole bunch of never-before-seen photos with co-star Keanu Reeves on set of Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure.

“I found an old hard drive with a bunch of BTS shots from Bill & Ted 1,” Alex wrote along the photos in the gallery. “These are from the opening dance number (yes an actual, choreographed rock jam) and face off with the jocks at the bus stop that didn’t make it into the movie.”

The day before, the first official photo of Alex and Keanu back in the upcoming third installment of the franchise, Bill & Ted Face the Music was released.

Kristen Schaal and Holland Taylor are joining the cast of Bill & Ted Face The Music!

The actresses were announced as the latest additions to the highly anticipated addition to the Bill & Ted film franchise on Thursday (July 11).

Kristen will play Kelly, a messenger from the future. Holland will play the role of The Great Leader, the most powerful person in the universe – the center of which is San Dimas, California, 700 years in the future.

The cast includes Alex Winter, Keanu Reeves, William Sadler, Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Kid Cudi, Anthony Carrigan, Beck Bennett, Erinn Hayes, Jayma Mays, Amy Stoch, Hal Landon Jr. and Jillian Bell.

Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are reprising their roles as Bill & Ted!

The two actors will be filming a third Bill & Ted movie, called Bill & Ted Face The Music, according to Variety.

The movie was written by the franchise’s original creators, with Dean Parisot set to direct.

Here’s a plot summary of the upcoming sequel: “Out of luck and inspiration, Bill and Ted set out on another time-travel adventure — with the help of their daughters, a new crop of historical figures and some sympathetic music legends — to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe as we know it.”

“We couldn’t be more excited to get the whole band back together again,” Keanu and Alex said in a statement.

The original Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure debuted in 1989, followed by Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey in 1991.
