Fantastic Beasts' Ezra Miller Finally Speaks About That Huge Twist Ending in 'Crimes of Grindelwald'!

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald hit theaters last week and Ezra Miller, who plays the role of Credence Barebone, has broken his silence on the major twist at the end!

SPOILERS AHEAD! Don’t continue reading if you haven’t seen the movie!

At the end of the movie, Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) revealed to Credence that he’s actually Aurelius Dumbledore, who is presumed to be the brother of Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law).

“I was shocked, stunned, confused, petrificus totalus with wonder and fascination. And I still have a lot of questions for which I have no answers,” Ezra told EW about finding out the big news. Ezra added that he first learned the true identity of Credence after promoting the first Fantastic Beasts movie in 2016.

And does Albus Dumbledore know that Credence is his brother?

“We truly do not know,” Ezra said. “Jude knows. But he won’t tell you.”

As for what the characters will be doing while waiting at Nurmengard Castle, he responded, “Probably just hang out all the time. Hopefully Antonio the chupacabra — who was treated so foully by our fearless leader and master — has some siblings somewhere. We have a phoenix. We have the Obscurus juice. Plus Grindelwald is one of the most formidable wizards of all time. And we’ll get better costumes since we’re now on the villains side.”

Ezra Miller Gets Honest About His Sex Life for 'Playboy' Interview

Ezra Miller is getting candid up about his sex life in a new interview with Playboy.

The 26-year-old actor first opened up about an early memory of Playboy. He shared that during elementary school, a “friend and also sexual partner” who was a couple years his senior found some sexy items belonging to the other boy’s mother, including Playboys.

“We would jerk each other off while we interacted with that stuff in various ways, actually,” he said.

Ezra says that he is attracted to both men and women and that monogamy is not for him. He considers himself a “sexual being” and is part of a “polycule,” which he calls his group of sexual partners.

There’s a selective process to be part of the polycule, which includes people he has known for years, like members of his band Sons of an Illustrious Father, and some new members.

“I’m trying to find queer beings who understand me as a queer being off the bat, who I make almost a familial connection with, and I feel like I’m married to them 25 lifetimes ago from the moment we meet,” he said. “And then they are in the squad—the polycule. And I know they’re going to love everyone else in the polycule because we’re in the polycule, and we love each other so much.”

“I have more of an ecstatic practice, but I do take to instatic practices at times, so sometimes, I don’t have sex for a really long time because a lack of sex is as important to me as sex,” Ezra added.

While preparing to play Credence Barebone in The Crimes of Grindelwald, Ezra says “there’s definitely a lot of sexless, lonely time” so that he could get into character.

Ezra Miller Poses as a Bunny for New 'Playboy' Photo Shoot!

Ezra Miller dresses up as a Playboy bunny for a gender-bending photo shoot for Playboy.

The 26-year-old actor, who stars in the new movie Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, requested Bunny ears, fishnets, and size-14 heels for the photo shoot.

On his own Me Too experience: “I’ve survived abuse for sure, for sure, in a lot of capacities, starting from a pretty young age… I’ve been attacked repeatedly in my life—I’ve been attacked by f–king bigots, man. Of course I’ve been in audition situations where sexuality was totally being leveraged. It’s really important to acknowledge the diversity of voices who have experienced this shit, and all genders, all capacities, all types of people. Everyone is victim to it. Everyone is a survivor of it.”

On how art helps him survive: “Art is the only thing that I have. If I didn’t have art, I’d be so f–king dead—so long ago, I’d be dead. I probably would have done it myself.”
