Sofia Vergara and Julie Bowen hit the blue carpet at the 2013 USA Upfront Presentation on Thursday (May 16) at Pier 36 in New York City.

The ladies were joined by their Modern Family co-stars Eric Stonestreet, Ty Burrell, Ariel Winter, Nolan Gould, and Aubrey Anderson-Emmens to present their show, which will air in syndication on USA.

“I feel like there are a lot of people who still aren’t comfortable with gay characters on television,” Jesse shared with the mag. “But what I admire about our show is that it has a plethora of characters for people to attach to, and slowly those people are becoming attached to Mitchell and Cameron as well. It’s kind of like a Trojan horse. We sneak into a lot of people’s living rooms when they aren’t expecting it and maybe change some minds through the back door.”

Julie Bowen keeps it classy while attending the Entertainment Weekly & ABC Upfront Party on Tuesday (May 14) at The General in New York City.

The 43-year-old actress was joined by her Modern Family co-stars Ed O’Neill and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

“I’ve never stolen anything from the [Modern Family] set. In fact, eleven years on Married With Children, my dressing room looked exactly the same as the day I walked into it,” Ed shared with JJ.

Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Brett Dalton, Elizabeth Henstridge, and Iain De Caestecker also attended the event to promote their new show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, which centers on “The missions of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division.”

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his fiance Justin Mikita leave Pastis with their pet pup after eating lunch on Monday (May 6) in New York City.

The 37-year-old Modern Family actor recently recorded a hilarious sketch for Funny or Die with George Takei called “Gays Beware”!

“But there is one person living on this street whose orientation threatens to destroy society,” George narrates in the sketch. “There’s Dale Wilson struggling with his lawnmower. What you can’t tell about Dale is that he’s sick – he opposes marriage equality. Dale looks normal, but he gives off clues of his prejudice with buzz words like pro family, traditional marriage…”

The nominations for the 2013 Tony Awards are finally here!

Broadway vets Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Sutton Foster awoke bright and early this morning (April 30) to read the names of the lucky nominees at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center at Lincoln Center.

Tom Hanks and Tom Sturridge both received nominations for Lucky Guy and Orphans in the Leading Role in a Play category, and the Broadway musical Kinky Boots led the nominations with a whopping thirteen total.

The 2013 Tony Awards are set to air on June 9 on CBS – be sure to check them out!
