The 21-year-old actor was joined on the Supporting Actor in a Drama Series panel by Boardwalk Empire‘s Jack Huston, The Walking Dead‘s David Morrissey, Nashville‘s Charles Esten, Mad Men‘s Vincent Kartheiser, and Breaking Bad‘s Dean Norris.

Elementary stars Lucy Liu and Jonny Lee Miller hit the carpet at the 2013 CBS Upfront Presentation held at the Tents at Lincoln Center on Wednesday (May 15) in New York City.

Earlier in the day, the 44-year-old actress sat down with the ladies of The Talk to chat about her hit series, which was renewed for a second season.

Also in attendance at the upfront event were The Talk ladies Julie Chen (with husband and CBS boss Les Moonves), Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler, Sara Gilbert and Sheryl Underwood. The gals are in the Big Apple doing a special week of shows in New York! Catch it at 2pm on CBS.

The stars of the new show Hostages – Dylan McDermott and Toni Collette – were on hand, as was the cast of Intelligence – Josh Holloway, Marg Helgenberger, and Meghan Ory. Finally, NCIS: Los Angeles stars LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell were also at the event.

Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu‘s hit CBS show Elementary will be airing in the coveted post-Super Bowl slot later tonight and we have the details on the big episode!

Elementary is a modern take on the cases of Sherlock Holmes (Miller), with the detective now living in New York City.

Here’s the official synopsis for tonight’s episode, “The Deductionist”: Sherlock pursues Martin Ennis (Terry Kinney), an unpredictable criminal, before he strikes again. During the investigation, Sherlock is forced to work alongside Kathryn Drummond (Kari Matchett), the FBI profiler who literally wrote the book on Ennis. Meanwhile, Watson (Liu) faces eviction from her apartment.

The executive producers had originally planned on airing an episode in that slot involving a mythological story line that would reveal some secrets to the series, but they decided to change it up to make it less complicated for new viewers.

“We found out we were doing a Super Bowl episode when I was breaking ‘M.,’” executive producer Rob Doherty told TVGuide.com. “I wondered, ‘Well, hey, we have a big mythological story here, many secrets are revealed. Is there something to be said for pushing this story to that slot?’ The reason we didn’t was one of the goals and hopes when you air an episode in that slot is to bring new people in and I feel like ‘M.’ is far more satisfying for people who have been watching the show from the beginning. Ultimately, in that slot, it becomes a little exclusive in that the majority of the audience will be going, ‘OK, who’s he and how does she know him?’”

Lucy Liu and Theo James participate in panels for their shows Elementary and Golden Boy during the CBS portion of the 2013 Winter TCA Press Tour held at the Langham Huntington Hotel on Saturday (January 12) in Pasadena, Calif.

The television stars were also joined by Elementary‘s leading man Jonny Lee Miller.

You might recognize Theo from his work on a season one episode of Downton Abbey as the pivotal role of Kemal Pamuk.

The 43-year-old actress’ hit series Elementary was just given the coveted post-Super Bowl time slot for next year’s game in February. The Super Bowl will be airing on CBS.

Last year, The Voice was placed after the game on NBC and raked in 37.6 million viewers and the show remains the channel’s biggest hit in a decade.
