Kate Bosworth shields her eyes from the sun while leaving a chiropractor’s office on Thursday afternoon (May 9) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

That afternoon, the 30-year-old actress’ fiance Michael Polish tweeted out the international poster for their new film Big Sur.

“The more ups and downs, the more joy I feel. The greater the fear, the greater the happiness I feel,” Michael wrote along with the poster.

Big Sur, a recounting of Jack Kerouac’s three sojourns to the cabin in Big Sur, owned by poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti, has been making its way around the festival circuit.

Kate Bosworth, Lake Bell, and star/director Katie Aselton attend a screening of their film Black Rock on Wednesday (May 8) at the ArcLight in Hollywood.

The ladies were joined at the event by Katie‘s husband Mark Duplass, who wrote the screenplay for the film.

Black Rock is about three childhood friends who set aside their personal issues and reunite for a girls’ weekend on a remote island off the coast of Maine. One wrong move turns their weekend getaway into a deadly fight for survival.

Krysten Ritter and Ed Helms also stepped out to show their support for the film that evening.
