North Korean Dictator Kim Jong-un Might Be in a Coma, New Report Says

North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un is reportedly in a coma, some South Korean officials believe (via TMZ).

Chang Song-min, who is a former aide to the late South Korean President Kim Dae-jung, said he has heard that the 36-year-old North Korean dictator is in a coma but is not dead.

He added, “A complete succession structure has not been formed, so Kim Yo-jong is being brought to the fore as the vacuum cannot be maintained for a prolonged period.” Kim Yo-jong is his younger sister.

This is not the first time his health has been brought into question. He was actually rumored to have died back in April…but then photos seemingly emerged of the dictator.

We await confirmation either way of his health status.

Kim Jong-un Is Reportedly Still Alive, Makes Public Appearance in North Korea

Reports surfaced last weekend that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un had died or was on his death bed, but now it appears that he is still alive.

KCNA, the state news agency in North Korea, says that the 36-year-old Supreme Leader was in attendance at the completion of a fertilizer plan on Friday (May 1).

This marks Kim‘s first appearance in public since April 11. It was rumored that he underwent heart surgery last month and some reports claim it did not go well.

Reuters says that KCNA’s claims have not been confirmed yet, but the outlet says that Kim participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and attendees “burst into thunderous cheers of ‘hurrah!’ for the Supreme Leader who is commanding the all-people general march for accomplishing the great cause of prosperity.”

President Trump reportedly said that “he will have something to say about Kim at the appropriate time.”

North Korea's Kim Jong-un Is Rumored to Have Died at 36

Kim Jong-un, who has been the Supreme Leader of North Korea since 2011, has reportedly died at the age of 36.

The North Korean dictator underwent heart surgery earlier this month and it has been reported that the surgery did not go well. Some are saying that the surgery did not happen quick enough or that the doctor in charge botched the procedure.

Now, a Chinese journalist is citing a “very solid source” and claims that Kim has died. A Japanese outlet is reporting that he’s still in a “vegetative state” though, according to TMZ.

Some reports claim that Kim‘s sister Kim Yo Jang might be replacing him as the next Supreme Leader.

President Trump famously met with Kim on multiple occasions and he said this week that he doesn’t believe the reports about the leader’s condition.

“I wish him very, ya know, good luck,” Trump said during a press conference this week. “They came out with very serious medical reports. Nobody’s confirmed that… When CNN comes out with a report, I don’t put much credence in it.”
