Maya Rudolph and Natasha Lyonne are going their separate ways under amicable terms.
The actresses came to a mutual agreement to give up their shared production company Animal Pictures and move on from working as a team as they phase out their final projects.
They released a statement, and a report has offered more insight about what this means for the pair.

The acclaimed director was joined by friends and former colleagues like Kristen Stewart and Kirsten Dunst at an intimate dinner hosted by Chanel on Tuesday (September 19) at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
Some more celebs who were in attendance included Kirsten‘s husband Jesse Plemons, Priscilla Presley, sisters Dakota and Elle Fanning, Rashida Jones, Maya Rudolph, Molly Shannon, Anjelica Huston, Paris Hilton, Awkwafina, Alexandra Shipp, and cute couple Olivia Munn and John Mulaney.
The evening ended with a surprise performance from Maya‘s Prince cover band, Princess.

So many celebs showed up to help Carol Burnett celebrate her 90th birthday a little early!
The legendary comedian and actress was joined by pals like Julie Andrews, Cher, and Katy Perry for the taping of NBC’s Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter + Love special on Thursday (March 2) in Los Angeles.
The special will feature musical performances from top entertainers and celebrity appearances from so many of Carol‘s friends and admirers in Hollywood.
You can watch the special on Wednesday, April 26 at 8/7c on NBC and the next day on Peacock. It will air on the night of Carol’s actual birthday.

Maya Rudolph starred in her first Super Bowl commercial as the official spokesperson for M&M’s, and it looks like it will also be her last.
The comedian was announced as a replacement for the brand’s colorful spokescandies earlier this year amid backlash about the characters being made more inclusive.
Her takeover was reflected in the commercial, which aired during the 2023 Super Bowl on Sunday (February 12). In it, she threw M&M’s with her face on them in the air before pitching a new line of candy coated clam bites.
The Red M&M appeared in the background holding up a “HELP!” sign in the final moments of the commercial, and it looks like help has arrived.

Last year, M&M’s spokescandies underwent a redesign in order to reflect “a world where everyone feels they belong and society is inclusive.”
Some of the changes included sneakers for the Green M&M instead of heels and block heels instead of stiletto heels for the Brown M&M.
Amid the changes, the Internet had a lot of opinions, even prompting a Fox News segment from conservative host Tucker Carlson that had him saying, “M&M’s will not be satisfied until every last cartoon character is deeply unappealing and totally androgynous. Until the moment you wouldn’t want to have a drink with any one of them. That’s the goal.” He also branded the candies “too woke.”
Now, M&M’s has released a statement revealing they’re taking an “indefinite” pause on their spokescandies, and have replaced them with Maya Rudolph as the new spokesperson for the beloved candy brand. She will be starring in a Super Bowl commercial.
