Jake Gyllenhaal and his sister Maggie pose for a photo while stopping by the 2017 Met Gala after party held at the Boom Boom Room at the Top of the Standard on Monday night (May 1) in New York City.

The 36-year-old actor didn’t walk the red carpet at the gala, but he was in attendance at the annual event alongside Maggie and friends like Ryan Reynolds and Andrew Rannells.

Jake recently ended his run on Broadway in the musical Sunday in the Park with George, which was not eligible for Tony nominations this morning.

Rihanna was totally the queen of the 2017 Met Gala and she kept the fun going at an after party that she hosted on Monday night (May 1) at 1 OAK in New York City!

The 29-year-old singer changed out of her amazing Commes des Garcons dress and kept it more casual while enjoying the night with her celeb pals.

There were a ton of stars at the party, where guests sipped on cocktails from Perrier-Jouët, Absolute Elyx and Tequila Avión into the wee hours of the night.

Madonna, Leonardo DiCaprio and Nina Agdal, Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams and wife Helen Lasichanh, Kendall Jenner and A$AP Rocky, Nick and Joe Jonas, Brie Larson, Rita Ora and Diplo, Kerry Washington, Mary J. Blige, and Cara Delevingne are just some of the many celebs at the party.

Here’s your inside scoop at all the action that happened at one of the 2017 Met Gala after parties!

The party took place at the Boom Boom Room at the Top of the Standard Hotel on Monday evening (May 1) in New York City.

Katy Perry and DJ Mia Moretti curated the musical entertainment for the festivities, including performances by Moretti and Margot of The Dolls, DJ Equal, Jesse Marco and a special performance by all-female brass band The Original Pinettes.

Some of the celebs in attendance included Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, Jake Gyllenhaal with his sister Maggie, Dakota Johnson, Brie Larson, Michael B. Jordan, the Olsen Twins, Alexander Skarsgard, and so many more.

Doutzen Kroes wears a white dress on the red carpet at the 2016 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 2) in New York City.

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel was joined at the event by the brand’s models Liu Wen and Ming Xi.

Current angel Martha Hunt wasn’t seen at the gala, but she did attend the Balmain after party later in the night!
