Also in attendance at the event were model Hilary Rhoda, socialite Nicky Hilton, and ballet dancer Misty Copeland.

Elizabeth Olsen looks stunning in a black gown while attending American Ballet Theatre Fall Gala on Thursday (October 20) in New York City.

The 27-year-old actress was joined at the event by Misty Copeland, Damaris Lewis, Julianna Margulies and her husband Keith Lieberthal.

“To this magical light of a woman I’m blessed to know- keep on shaking up the world,” Damaris wrote on her Instagram after the event, along with a photo with Misty.

World renowned ballet dancer Misty Copeland got married to her longtime love Olu Evans on Sunday (July 31) at the Montage Hotel in Laguna Beach, Calif.

The 33-year-old dancer and Olu, who is cousins with actor Taye Diggs, said “I do” in a “small and intimate wedding” with 100 guests, E! News reports.

Misty wore a dress by Inbal Dror and shoes by Christian Louboutin, and sources say she looked like an “ethereal goddess” on her special day.

Misty and Olu have been together for 10 years.

Congrats to the happy couple on the wonderful news!

Misty Copeland has been cast in Disney’s upcoming film The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, based on the classic Christmas tale!

The 33-year-old ballet star took to her Instagram to make the exciting announcement.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of this amazing project with Disney and the wonderful Lasse Hallstrom #TheNutcracker #MoreToCome,” Misty wrote.

The film will be based on E.T.A. Hoffman‘s Christmas Eve tale about a young girl who finds a Nutcracker doll with her family’s presents and is given the responsibility to take care it. At night, the Nutcracker comes to life, along with an evil Mouse King who introduce the little girl to the magical world of toys.

On having to prove herself at ABT: “I had times when, as an African-American woman, I felt that I didn’t belong in the ballet world.”

On determination: “Even when you think you’ve arrived, you have to keep working. Not everyone is going to like you or think you’re the right fit. But hearing no makes you stronger.”
