In Marvel Studios’ new series, set in the present day MCU, Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart the imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.

The Broadway musical Girl From the North Country is being turned into a movie!
The musical, inspired by the music of Bob Dylan, told the uplifting tale of wanderers standing at a turning point in their lives. As they search for a brighter future, and hide from the past, they discover that they all need the same thing in the present moment: each other.
Olivia Colman, Woody Harrelson, and singer Chloe Bailey have all joined the cast of the film.
THR reports that the film will be based in 1934 in Duluth, Minnesota during the Great Depression. The story “follows a group of wayward travelers’ lives as they intersect in a guest house filled with music, life and hope. Things are spiraling out of control for proprietor Nick Laine (Harrelson). His wife Elizabeth (Colman) is suffering from dementia. The bank is foreclosing on their home. Their adopted daughter, Marianne (Bailey), has a closely guarded secret that no one can explain. But when an escaped convict Joe Scott (Tosin Cole) seeks shelter at the guesthouse, a relationship develops between Marianne and Joe that will change everything for everyone forever.”
Conor McPherson, who wrote the book for the musical, will write and direct the movie.
Bob Dylan said in a statement, “To be associated with Conor is one of the highlights of my professional life. It goes without saying the man is a genius for putting this thing together, and I’m thrilled to be a part of the experience. My songs couldn’t be in better hands. The play had me crying at the end. I can’t even say why. When the curtain came down, I was stunned. I really was.”

During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Thursday (December 29), the 48-year-old Oscar- and Emmy-winning actress looked back on playing the late Queen Elizabeth in seasons three and four of The Crown.
At the very beginning of production on season three, Olivia revealed that the prop that she stole from set.

Olivia Colman is speaking out after her on-screen Heartstopper son Kit Connor came out as bisexual after being bullied on social media.
The Oscar-winning actress opened up while attending the L.A. premiere of her movie Empire of Light on Thursday (December 1) at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Olivia was joined at the premiere by her co-stars Colin Firth and Micheal Ward. The movie will be released in theaters on December 9.
