Ada Vox hits the stage for a performance during the season finale of American Idol on Monday night (May 21) in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old drag queen, also known as Adam Sanders, performed the classic song “Lady Marmalade” with Patti LaBelle during the show.

“Getting together for the @americanidol finale!!!!! This is going to be HUGE, y’all! Who will be watching for my performance tonight??” Ada wrote on Instagram ahead of the big show.

After the show, Ada congratulated winner Maddie Poppe, “Well deserved @maddiepoppe I’ve been telling you for weeks!!! Lol I love you; baby girl! So proud!”

Patti LaBelle opened up about her relationship with the late Luther Vandross.

The music icon discussed the late “Never Too Much” crooner, who died back in 2005, during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday (December 5).

Patti talked about how she first met Luther, who became the first president of her fan club – and eventually, one of her best friends.

At one point, host Andy Cohen asked about whether she and Luther ever discussed him coming out of the closet.

“We talked about it. Basically, he did not want his mother to be – although she might have known – but he wasn’t going to come out and say this to the world. He had a lot of lady fans, and he told me that he just didn’t want to upset the world,” Patti revealed.

“It was hard for him.”

Jennifer Hudson stepped out to soak up the California sunshine!

The 35-year-old singer – who will join The Voice as a judge next season – sported an oversized plaid shirt while out and about with friends on Wednesday (May 24) in West Hollywood.

The next day, Jennifer helped fellow singer Patti LaBelle celebrate her birthday.

‘When @mspattilabelle say sing u better sing!” Jennifer captioned the Instagram video below, featuring some epic vocals. “@jameswrightchanel took a note and so did I! @mspattilabelle birthday celebration and a evening full of moments, I will never forget!”

Mariah Carey stuns in a silver gown while performing on stage during the 2016 Essence Festival held at the Louisiana Superdome on Saturday (July 2) in New Orleans, La.

The 46-year-old entertainer was joined by Common, Jermaine Dupri, Patti LaBelle, and Tyrese.

Mariah also changed into a sexy pink number for her set.

Empire‘s Gabourey Sidibe and Terrence Howard present the show’s executive producer Lee Daniels with an award on stage during the 2016 BET Honors held at the Warner Theatre on Sunday (March 5) in Washington, D.C.

Also in attendance at the huge event were Jussie Smollett, Usher, Janelle Monae, Mellody Hobson with husband George Lucas, Toni Braxton, Fantasia Barrino, Patti LaBelle, L.A. Reid, and many more.

The honorees that evening included Eric Holder, L.A., Mellody, Lee, and Patti. Huge congrats to all!

The season finale of Dancing With the Stars kicked off with an energetic group dance number to reunite all the contestants from this year.

Featured in the number are the three finalists – actress & singer Rumer Willis, R5 singer and actor Riker Lynch, and combat soldier Noah Galloway – as well as the nine contestants previously eliminated.
